For us this is Sun's J2EE platform which has shown tremendous vitality and flexibility in heterogeneous environments common in today's enterprise due to mergers, legacy integration and geographic distribution.

Transitioning and interacting with legacy environments, EAI, .NET and recently Enterprise Service Buses has been a major challenge in our practice of Enterprise Architecture. We believe Communication and use of Standards and Practices are key to overcoming this challenge.

Part of the industry standard practices we utilize are a light weight version of the Rational Unified Practice (RUP) and Agile Methodologies. Using visual communication and iterative user communication  are a fundamental part of our approach to Software Architecture.

Security is another integral part of modern Enterprises which we've implemented through strategies for protecting enterprise assets and the comprehensive J2EE security architecture.
